Suzanne Ziemnik, MEd, serves as the Chief Officer, Educational Research and Strategic Partner Development at the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In this role, Suzanne is responisible for driving growth by building strategic partnerships that supports its mission and goals, securing sustainable funding sources, and expanding the reach and impact of the organization. She also co-directs the ASCP Health Services Research Center. Prior to that, Suzanne served as the Chief Officer, Learning and Educational Research for 19 years at ASCP. In that role, Suzanne directed the ASCP CPD program to develop, maintain, and increase the competency, skills, knowledge and professional performance of pathologists and medical laboratory professionals by providing nearly 1,000 high quality, relevant, and accessible professional development activities including books and journals delivered annually in surgical pathology, clinical pathology, and all areas of laboratory medicine. Throughout her career, Suzanne has held myriad leadership positions in organizations including the ACCME, ACEHP, and CMSS.
