I have nearly 20 years of experience in continuing medical education, with a strong background in accreditation, adult learning theory, scientific and medical writing, and public speaking. I hold a master's degree in biology from the College of William and Mary, where I conducted original research on the mechanism of fever and published my findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Her passion is to identify and implement technology solutions that improve education processes and outcomes, and provide cutting-edge education formats that meet the needs and expectations of learners. I have also presented at national and international conferences on topics such as online learner engagement, virtual learning environments, and audience response systems. I am passionate about advancing the field of continuing medical education and collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders to enhance the quality and impact of education.
Heather earned her CHCP in 2018 and as an active member of the Alliance, she currently serves as an Editor for the Almanac.
