Hilary Schmidt has a PhD in Cognitive Science, and has spent her professional life translating the science of human learning and behavior change into the design of practical, high impact medical education. She has held leadership roles in both academia (15 years) and industry (10 years). She founded three Centers of Teaching and Learning at major medical centers in NY, and headed IME at Sanofi. She is now the co-founder of the Calibre Institute for Quality Medical Education - a small consulting firm. She has been an active participant in the Alliance over many years, and served in past leadership roles for IACE
